In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the formal release, "A strange confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of prohibited rituals and terrifying changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
